Her new lightsaber represents her changed alignment and spirit. Visas's original saber was destroyed during her battle with the Exile, but there comes a time for her to fashion herself a new blade. He is a guardian, a warrior and a protector, so it's only fitting that Bao-Dur's blade is a deep and vivid blue and he choses to have a crossguard saber. Because of this, he was quite particular with his one saber and put a lot of his own customizations into it though he still wasn't satisfied and he continually improves the weapon throughout his life. He looked over most everyone's saber in the crew, so he had a strong understanding of each saber's individual make-up.
He had always been fascinated by the saber, but it wasn't until he joined the Exile's crew that he got the opportunity to look at the inner workings of a saber. His blade is a viridian green and his single-hilt saber is silver and elegant in appearance, but sturdy and powerful.īao-Dur had spent years observing his Jedi comrades wield these devastating weapons during the Mandalorian Wars. He's a perfectionist and wants the saber to be absolutely perfect, so it takes him hours upon hours before he's satisfied enough to put a crystal inside of the hilt. He spends ages-absolutely ages-working on creating it. It had taken him far longer than he anticipated and he found the path of the Jedi most unusually, but he was finally a Jedi. Receiving a lightsaber, earning the right to carry one, feels like a long lost dream finally come true. Mical the Disciple feels incredible honored when the time comes for his apprenticeship to be marked by the addition of a lightsaber.
